A Little History
A long long time ago
RavenGuard was founded 11 years ago by Mike Rebitt and Chris Cadieux, who acted as the first generals. James Doyle joined the ranks soon after. At the time several of us worked for a local security firm and ended up getting into the hobby as well. Starting with 8 and gaining over 60 in two years. Hosting its very first event in 2014 at Capture the Flag with 80 players in attendeance. The following year saw 120 players in attendance.
The way of the Dodo
Unfortunately, in 2015 and 2016, many of the original RavenGuard members had moved away, had family commitments, etc and the team was disbanded.
Stronger than ever
In 2018, Aaron George, one of the original members, restarted RavenGuard with 10 new faces. Since then, we have grown to over 100 members today.
RavenGuard started hosting big games again in 2019 at Capture the Flag and have continued ever since. From our Pew Wars series to our Wounded Warrior Charity Events, there is always something on the go.
